Question 1

Do you come to my location?

Accepted Answer

Yes — MMR is a fully mobile mechanic, so we come to you. Whether you're at home, at work, on a job site, out on the farm, or stuck on the roadside anywhere in Southwest Louisiana, we roll out fully equipped and handle the repair on-site. There's no shop to drive to and no waiting room.

Question 2

What areas do you serve?

Accepted Answer

We're based in DeRidder (Beauregard Parish, 337 area code) and stay busiest right around DeRidder, Merryville, Singer, Ragley, Dry Creek and Rosepine. We travel farther too — a $125 call-out applies beyond about 25 miles, and $150 out to Lake Charles or Leesville. Not sure about your spot? Call (337) 202-5363 and we'll confirm.

Question 3

Do you work on tractors and lawn equipment, or just cars and trucks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Alongside cars and trucks, we service homeowner and compact tractors (up to about 50 hp), plus lawn mowers, blowers, trimmers and other small engines — all repaired on-site. One mobile mechanic for the car, the tractor and the mower. (Large farm tractors are usually more than we take on.)

Question 4

Do you offer 24/7 emergency or after-hours service?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Breakdowns don't keep business hours, so we offer round-the-clock emergency and roadside help, day or night. If you're broken down or stuck, one call to (337) 202-5363 gets a mechanic rolling your way.

Question 5

Do I need a tow truck?

Accepted Answer

In most cases, no. Because we're mobile and come to you, we can diagnose and repair many problems right where your vehicle or equipment sits — saving you the tow bill and the wait. If a repair truly can't be done on-site, we'll tell you straight.

Question 6

My vehicle won't start — can you fix it where it is?

Accepted Answer

Usually, yes. Won't-start and no-start problems are some of the most common calls we handle on-site — dead batteries, bad alternators, jump-starts, worn belts, and hard-to-find electrical faults. We use professional OBD-II diagnostics to track down the issue and get you running again without a tow.

Question 7

How fast can you get to me?

Accepted Answer

We know a breakdown puts your day — or your business — on hold, so we aim to reach you as quickly as we can. Call (337) 202-5363 and we'll give you a realistic ETA based on where you are in Southwest Louisiana and what you're dealing with. Emergencies are handled 24/7.

Question 8

How does payment work?

Accepted Answer

Once we've diagnosed the problem, you get honest, up-front pricing before any work starts — no surprises and no runaround. Give us a call at (337) 202-5363 to go over the accepted payment options for your repair.

Question 9

Is there anything you don't work on?

Accepted Answer

A couple of things. We don't service commercial vehicles (insurance reasons). And for tractors we stick to homeowner and compact units up to about 50 hp — not large farm tractors. We're always glad to take a look at bigger equipment, but we may not be able to take the job.

Question 10

How do I book a service call?

Accepted Answer

Tap to call or text (337) 202-5363, or send a quick request through the site. Let us know your location, the equipment (vehicle, tractor, or lawn / small engine), and what's going on — then we roll out to you and fix it on-site.
